Cream of watercress

Preparation

  1. Chop the diced onion and simmer in a pan with the oil

  2. Add the potatoes cut into thin slices, add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste

  3. Cover with cold water and boil until the potato is tender

  4. Add the watercress and cook about 10 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and heat through the blender.

  6. Serve decorated with raw watercress leaves and / or a slice of fried bread.

  • 4 large potatoes

  • 2 Large Onions

  • 1 - 2 bags of watercress

  • Seasoning

  • Nutmeg ( optional )

  • Olive oil
